The Ralli Retreat story

This large and gracious estate in Southern Corfu was fashioned for my father who was Greek Prime Minister in the 1980’s. The spacious house is set among rolling hills thick with olive groves, cypress trees. It's grounds of 100.000 square meters (about 25 acres) are also cultivated with over 400 trees including olives, oranges, lemons, cherries and figs. While offering exceptional privacy due to its size and location the estate is only a five-minute drive from nearby beaches and twenty kilometres from the capital town of Corfu with its international airport.

The house is set on a hilltop with marvellous views of both the sunrise as well as the sun set. It takes advantage of its beautiful setting through generous use of large glass sliding doors. The spacious living room and dining room open into a broad covered terrace facing the sea the hills and trees, overlooking the swimming pool. Fragrant ornamental flowers including Jasmine, Bougainvillea and Jacaranda surround the house. Each bedroom has a private terrace for direct access to the gardens. Built in 1983 of top quality materials the house has all modern systems including central heating and is ideal for year round use. 

I have always considered this place the closest I will ever come to paradise. As a working artist, I return here to contemplate life, recharge my batteries and allow my creativity to flow. My friends who love to spend time here, tell me they come for the same reasons.

I have recently decided to share this special place with like-minded people. My friends, exceptional musicians, talented artists and skilled yoga and tai-chi instructors, all agree that here we have the perfect place and right mix of skills to create a special community
