Heaven!

Our plane crashed when landing in Corfu. We died, and we were immediately in Heaven!! That lasted until our departure, a week later, when life became real again! That is how we tell the story of our week at Ralli Retreat. Nothing belonged to this world. From the detailed wonders of the architecture, to the majestic play of labyrinth mountains and flowers, to the clean, fresh air, to the intricate play of sky, light, sunrise and sunset. The almost Olympic size pool with its fresh water, void of any chemicals, rivalled the bluest and whitest beaches of the idyllic Corfu. ΠΟΛΥΤΕΛΗΣ ΑΠΛΟΤΗΤΑ

Δεν ξέρω αν ευσταθεί ο όρος πολυτελής απλότητα....'Ισως τελικά η απλότητα να είναι πολυτέλεια. τo ralli retreat είναι βυθισμένο μέσα στην φύση ! απαλλαγμένο από περιττά. Το σπίτι κινείται με άνεση στα όρια του ονειρικού, του άυλου, του διαρκώς μεταβαλλόμενου. ..ενώ ταυτόχρονα είναι απόλυτα λειτουργικό και άνετο.Κατά την διάρκεια της μέρας γεμάτο φως και σκιερά,με θέα την καμπυλότητα των λόφων που το περιβάλλουν.Γραμμές φιλόξενες, και τρυφερές...Μέρες γεμάτες με φυσικούς ήχους, σαν να σε περιβάλλει μουσική.Μια μουσική που μάλλον... ίσως, μπορεί... να ακούν και άλλοι εντούτοις είναι εντελώς δική σου.Τα βράδια, ένας ουρανός σαν στέγη. Μιά ουράνια Στέγη. Ολοστρόγγυλη πλούσια και ταξιδιάρικη. Tα νυκτοπούλια oλα, μια απαλή νυκτερινή χορωδία να σε νανουρίζει.Mα πιο πολύ από όλα είναι εκείνη η ανάσα της κουκουβάγιας που κατοικεί στην στέγηκαι νιώθεις ότι ένα αγαπημένο πλάσμα κοιμάται κοντά σου. μια τόσο ανθρώπινη ανάσα...Το Ralli reatret είναι ένας τόπος που υφαίνεις, το όνειρο σου,καμιά φορά και ερήμην σου. Είναι τόσο σωστά τοποθετημένο μέσα στην φύση που δεν μπορείς παρά να αισθανθείς και εσύ μέρος της.Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα σε όσους θέλουν να βιώσουν την φύση να εισχωρεί μέσα τους, σε όσους θέλουν να ανοικτούν στο περιβάλλον και σε όσους θέλουν να ονειρευτούν ....Το μέρος τούτο είναι Ευλογημένο.Το σπίτι το κτήμα και η οικοδέσποινα είναι Ένα, αλληλεπιδρούν μεταξύ τους με ευγένεια. Νιώθεις επαρκώς ασφαλής και ελεύθερος. Η Ιωάννα είναι μέρος του Όλου και ταυτόχρονα το εμπεριέχει Όλο μέσα της.Είναι εξαιρετική πλοηγός στο ταξίδι που ξεκινά μόλις τα πέλματα προσγειωθούν στο κτήμα. Τόπος για ασφαλείς "πτήσεις" και ασφαλείς "προσγειώσεις".

Le paradis est ici

Le paradis est ici, surplombant les côtes de Corfou des vues panoramiques à vous couper le souffle au son des cigales la piscine sublime majestueuse au milieu d'un parc luxuriant d'oliviers centenaires de citronniers d'orangers nous attend après un bain de mer d'une longue plage de sable fin bordée d'une forêt de cèdres. La maison d'un goût parfait est une merveille architecturale alliant circulation et intimité, ici on peut dîner ici ou là sous les étoiles près du barbecue cuisiner aussi. C'est la nature à la mer.

Il faut dire que ce lieu, plus encore que pour la beauté de la demeure, signée elle par Dekavalas, un des architectes de Grèce les plus appréciés des années '60-'70, convient parfaitement aux prédilections de mon goût quasiment "anti-touristique". Ainsi qu'à mon besoin profond de jouir de sa vue imprenable, de la colline "olivieresque", des parfums sauvages discrets, de l'alternance de sons et des silences naturels tout en sachant qu'à de petites distances en voiture je peux me retrouver au bord des plages précieuses ou au sein de villages traditionnels d'un Corfu qui est en Grèce ou qu'il ne l'est pas. Moi, Grec, c'est ce qui me dépayse le plus. Et de ce dépaysement j'ai eu la chance de jouir à trois reprises à des époques différentes. Je vous le souhaite aussi

Strong Experience!

In this summer I had the occasion to spend some days in this amazing place " Ralli retreat". In was a strong experience, I felt so bless to be there, to feel how the nature accept me and how this place give me the sensation than "I have my place in this world". Is not easy to explain how safe and protect I felt there. Is more than a very beautiful place, I think it is a place where the earth and the sky, and Mother Nature celebrate every day. I was for some days in this energy and I keep this with me like a guide. For sure, this place, give you the feeling to "unconditional love", you can be who you are there... no preasure, no expectation, no need to please somebody, you are free to Be... Best wishes for Ioana who made all this possible

A peaceful paradise

In September 2016, on the cusp of the inception of the Ralli retreat, I had the good fortune to stay in this beautiful place. Surrounded by olive trees, lemon groves and flowers, I was immediately transported to a peaceful paradise in the southern part of beautiful Corfu. In the time I was there, I experienced amazing sunshine with a welcoming swimming pool and a spectacular thunder storm, insulated by the cosy shelter of this exceptionally well furnished and stylish property. With central heating, comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms, healthy food outside on the veranda and a choice of stunning panoramas, combined with a warm welcome from the lovely Ioanna, what's not to like about this very special place?
